2011 In Review

Semi Survey Style:

A few things you will never forget in 2011.
-My fabulous internship with the Emp/Sfm, one of the biggest professional highlights of my LIFE was working there and handling all that amazing archival material relating to Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, etc.
-Mardi Gras. Was one of the best nights of the year if not several past years/life.
-Stumbling into my Exhibits Design class a little tipsy w/my girlfriends at 1 in the afternoon.
-The first time Pretty Boy told me he loved me…even though he thinks I was asleep when he did it. I won’t forget the first time he actually told me to my face either.

Relationship(s).
-Cut all ties w/Mike. Sadly that was a relationship leeching all goodwill out of me, and even though he is a wonderful guy that was SO NOT the person I could have been with.
-
Made fabulous new friends via school and yelp. Im so grateful for the people i’ve gotten close to and value their friendship more than anything>
-Been dating Pretty Boy since March. We bonded over karaoke, first kissed at a drag show, cook for each other, love each other’s pets, and balance each other out well in ways I couldn’t have figured before with a partner. Come next Spring when leases are up we’ll be moving in together. He makes me blissed out and I consider myself lucky to be so happy with him.
-
My sister moved to the area and we’re closer than ever now.

The best day.
Mardi Gras. Hands down….Erotic Ball downtown, dancing, debauchery, late night Chinese food and strange movies with the guy im smitten with atm. Even made it to the Strangers line out blog:

The worst day.

Hurting Mike.
Or maybe drama/hpv scare shit….

The most memorable moment.
There isn’t just one. So a mini list:
-kissing a gin soaked boy
-touching Woody Guthrie’s guitar
-my best friend Angela getting married

Your best friend(s).

Clover, Lee, Angela, CW, John, Scruff…

Your birthday.
Best birthday I had in years and years. Lots of friends, lots of good food, lots of booze, lots of fun.

The funnest getaway.
John & I’s roadtrip to Spokane

The end of last school year/the beginning of this one.
Uh….I just finished a cert program through the UW?
Last day I was hot, hungover, and battle scarred from the night before. Left early and took a nap :P

New Year resolutions.

Never do these, seems silly to…change now and continually make yourself better
